Why see a rheumatologist?
Pain in joints or swelling
Joint pain or inflammation is often symptomatic of diseases we treat. Some of the damage can be rapid and permanent, which is why we offer rapid appointments, most within a few days.
Abnormal test results
While abnormal test results are not definitive signs of disease, they should be ruled out by an expert. Look out for antinuclear antibodies (ANA), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and rheumatoid factor (RF).
Pre-existing condition
If you were diagnosed with a rheumatologic disease, it is important to be followed by an expert, as such diseases demand proper attention. Read why our patients trust us with their care.
Cost effective treatment
We recently saw an insurance company’s provider manual. Its 246 pages were about imposing rules, but not supported physician’s judgement. We aim to change that – for less than a cost of a cup of coffee a day we deliver cost-effective care to you, without compromises.
